First upholstery job

I took on this DIY thinking it would be a sinch. Ha ha! How hard can it really be to staple fabric around wood and throw in a few buttons.

It was crazzzzzy hard!
DON'T EVER even attempt to do this! it was bananas to do!

However,now that it is done... Might I just say that I am in looove with my headboard! Will I ever do it again...NO!

Transformers and cake

While I was making everest birthday cake I kept thinking I can't believe we're "here"! ....No more soft plush toys, musical toys that light up are no longer amusing. My baby is growing faster than i want. Aaron and I are up to our eye balls in transformers, iron man, spiderman and all sorts of big boy stuff.

Regardless of the years that pass us by Everest will always be my sweet,silly and smart little boy. He warms my heart to my core.

Suddenly I feel like I have an adult...

Excuse me but,when did Everest grow up? I picked E up from preschool today and he drew, glued, and assembled this drawing of himself. He was so proud of himself. ( I feel like I'm saying himself a lot...).

He is about two weeks away from turning 4 and the thought of that makes me want to hold onto this little bean sprout for as long as I can!

I literally put my tooth and nail into this. I turned into handy manny but the girl version aaaaand with a real saw in hand.

Helmet head

So far today we have gone everywhere with this bike helmet on. It's silly and funny and I really do love that my kids are still so little!

St. Patricks Day

These little bears had a BLAST today making there "over the rainbow" treats.
I guess the candy had something to do with it!

We are going to enjoy our usual pattys day feast of corn beef and cabbage!

Mean while back at the ranch....
My kids have been sick for almost two weeks. Slade finally got an antibiotic and broke out in one crazy- BAD diaper rash....faaaareak. Ugh! Then I learned today that you need a probiotic to help out slades poor unfortunate soul. Who knew!

We went to COSTCO and i snapped these delightful pictures. It makes me wish the boys had glasses...so cute!

Spring has sprung

Its been too long...

Lately... everest LIVES in a transformer costume, iron man costume, & a puppy costume.

Lately...slade goes into a literal anaphylactic shock if he is more than 5 inches from me.

Lately... I have hocked everything onto CRAIGS list and now I have waaaay too many projects under my belt.

Lately...Aaron is pumping out school work like a mad man and is looking forward to summer "break".

Lately...were starting to box up our home here in Moscow and I'm trying not to think about saying goodbye to my sweet friends here....

I asked everest what he wanted to eat for Christmas dinner and he said... Mmmmm crabs!

We had a quiet Christmas at home. Just the four of us. It was so nice...
